Agent Bio Writing Assistance

If you need assistance with writing your real estate agent bio, you've come to the right place! Writing a bio is like writing a story about your work career and history. We’re happy to help with this, whether you're new to the business, need a bio from scratch, want a condensed version of what you already have, need an updated version, need a luxury version, etc.

First, we require that each agent must put in the time and effort and attempt writing their own bio themselves. It's super important that this comes from you in your voice. If you find you need someone else to take a look at this, then please fill out the questions below and send it over for us to further cultivate and suggest any edits. Once we receive the request, you will receive a response within 48 hours, and you’ll be placed on a list in the order in which request were received. You can expect something back within a few weeks.

Helpful tips & tricks for crafting your own agent bio:

  • Grab a coffee or tea and find a quiet place where you can concentrate for the writing session.

  • Research other real estate agent's bios, read them, study them, and pull bits and pieces that might fit you (no plagiarism, please!).

  • Use great description words — the thesaurus is a fabulous time-honored tool for a reason!

  • Think about your writing plan. When you cook something in the kitchen you start with a recipe, right? The same goes for good writing. Start with an introduction, your professional work history, and what you have to offer your sellers and buyers. Sprinkle in your unique skills and the special services you bring to the table, then add in the power of your brand. Conclude with why someone should contact you for their real estate needs.

  • Always check your work! Run the spelling & grammar check, check the formatting, and read it through again.

  • Once you're finished, it’s a good idea to set it aside for a day or so and then look at it with fresh eyes. You’ll almost always catch something or think of something else to include. Another good thing to do is to utilize a peer review — have a fellow agent look at it for you and give their feedback.

  • Now, you are on your way to becoming a good writer!
